Privacy Policy

BuildingHub is operated by Orlando Ernesto Lluberes Mejia, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, trading as BuildingHub. For account, billing and website information, we decide how it is used. Contact: support@buildinghubrd.com.

Management companies decide what resident information they add. For that information they are responsible (the controller), and we process it on their behalf and only on their instructions.

Account details: name, email address, language, role and building assignments.

Community records added by your management company: units, residents and occupancy, maintenance requests and photos, reservations, notices, polls, dues and payment proofs, documents and assistant conversations.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, and sign-in and activity logs used to secure accounts.

Billing details are collected and processed by Paddle. We receive the plan, invoice and payment status, never card numbers.

To provide the workspace you signed up for, send the notifications and emails you choose, keep an activity history, secure accounts, prevent abuse and provide support.

We use your information because it is needed to provide the service, for our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and improving it, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

When someone uses the assistant, their question and the records they are allowed to see are sent to OpenAI to generate the answer. Documents and chat history stay in BuildingHub. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load without cookies and without identifying you; page addresses are sent without their query details.

We share information only with the providers that run BuildingHub: Vercel (hosting and page speed measurement), Neon (database), Amazon Web Services (file storage), Resend (email), OpenAI (AI assistant) and Paddle (payments and invoicing).

Some of these providers process data in the United States and other countries. We rely on their contractual data-protection commitments for these transfers.

We keep workspace data while the company's account is active. When a company is closed, its data can be restored for 30 days and is then deleted. Backups expire on a rolling schedule after that.

Invoices and payment records are kept by Paddle and for as long as tax law requires.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role and building, and sensitive actions are logged. No system is completely secure, so we will tell affected customers promptly if a breach affects their data.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how it is used, by writing to support@buildinghubrd.com. We reply within 30 days.

Residents should contact their management company first, because it controls their records. We will help it respond.

BuildingHub accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and tell company owners by email before they take effect.
